Classic French Cookery Evening Course
On this course we will explore the traditional style of cooking that is the basis for all of today’s fine cuisine. French cuisine was transformed in the 20th century by Escoffier to become the modern version of haute cuisine. Join us as we pick favourite regional recipes to showcase the best of classical French Cuisine.
Our instructors are qualified Chefs with many years training and teaching students. We have created an informal and fun environment taking you through each recipe step by step. This is a hand’s on course with our instructors available to assist you throughout your evening.

During your evening we will cover:
Knife handling skills and chopping techniques
Food preparation techniques using freshly prepared ingredients
The creation of a three course meal
Food seasoning with natural flavours and ingredients
Dish presentation techniques
Your course starts at 6.00pm when you will be welcomed with tea and coffee and the opportunity to meet your fellow guests and instructing Chef. We will give you a short Health and Safety briefing and talk your through what you will be doing during your evening. At the end of your evening your efforts will be rewarded with a glass of wine as you sit down to enjoy your three course meal.
